The treasure today is from the man himself : Sam! When asked what he could not live without or something that he uses often, without hesitation he did a twirly kick and yelled “These Trinkets”. Okay, he didn’t twirl or yell trinkets, but he did do a manly kick to show me his top pick.

We could not have put it any better : ”Whether you call them A/Os, boat shoes or Top-Siders, they will always be the Originals. The Authentic Original combines classic comfort and enduring style for a timeless look that works season after season, and year after year.” That little blurb was from the Sperry website. The reason why Sam loves these shoes is because they are stain and water resistant. These are staples in Sam’s wardrobe and the whole studio of 5 women agree that they are a good choice!

Today’s trinket is this little gem we like to call the Purple Monster. It helps clear away pollution, dulling flakes for smooth, glowing skin as well as helping pores look their smallest. It also makes skin accept moisture better and grow more resistant to impurities. Using a cotton ball, sweep over face and throat twice daily after cleansing with Facial Soap. This second step in Clinique’s 3-Step Skin Care System is a true difference-maker for great skin. Developed by Clinique’s dermatologists, the cool, refreshing formula removes dead cells from the surface of the skin helping moisturizer and makeup to apply evenly. Though this is part of the 3-Step system, I use it after I wash my face (with Clearasil) and then apply a different lotion from the Body Shop. I believe this is the key to making my skin smooth and pores minimized. Even after I wash my face thoroughly, it removes more dirt!

I like this stuff, and if you’re looking for smoother skin and decreased pores you should try it out. It is $22.00 for 16.5 oz, and it has a pump top; this may seem pricey but it lasts sooo long!

Today’s trinket is Korres Tinted Moisturizer . This is an everyday staple of mine, and I swear by this product. It is an oil-free tinted moisturizer  that provides uniform color, sheer-to-medium coverage, and powerful sun protection.

One feature I love, since I am so fair, is that it has SPF 30.  It’s a moisturizer that contains antioxidant-rich watermelon extract that counteracts free-radical damage as well as SPF 30 UVA/UVB broad-spectrum protection. The breathable, WATER-RESISTANT formula has a SWEAT-PROOF { ahh, yes you did just read both of those words } tint that remains fresh even through activity, heat, and humidity.

And the best part is that it does not have : Parabens, Sulfates, Mineral Oil, Petro-chemicals, Propylene Glycols, Ethanolomines, GMOs, & Synthetic Dyes. I mean really, who wants all that on their face?

This little treasure comes in 3 colors and can range from $28.00 – $50.00. So keep your eye out for a good deal!
